Ecology

The whole variety of factors influencing people's health may be divided into two major groups: subjective and objective. Objective factors include bad ecological situation, heredity, psycho-emotional stresses, the level of medical care, social and economical status etc. The subjective factors may be pernicious habits, sedentary life, improper feeding, irrational routine of work, and so on. Let's take a closer look at some of them.

The ecological situation around the world is being influenced by a constantly growing volume of production of various chemical and other harmful substances. The long-term influence on the human organism has been defined for as much as 5% of the 70000 chemicals produced today. Some of them are able to accumulate in human body tissues, especially in bones. The anthropogenic impact on the environment is reflected in the amount of harmful substances penetrating human organism. For instance, especially harmful are the areas where many industrial plants and factories are located and where the weather conditions allow long stagnation of the air. Besides inhalation, harmful substances contained in the air may affect human organism through the skin. The consequences caused by air pollutants as a rule affect the general condition of a human - headaches, vomiting, general weakness, low working capacity etc.

Some of such chemicals can be absorbed by various plants, and then be transferred through milk and meat of animals to the human organism causing serious changes in our health.
