Healthy life-style

Scientists have noted that among the factors that influence the human health life-style takes up about 50 percent. According to the World Health Organization, about 50-55% of our health depends on our way of life and the conditions we live in, 25% - on ecological conditions, 15-20% - on genetic factors and only 10-15% on public health services.
There are different definitions of the term "life-style". Generally speaking it is a complex system, a way of living and relations of an individual both with himself and the external environment. This complex notion can be split into several categories: social aspect – scale of living; sociological aspect – quality of life; psychological aspect – life-style; social and economical aspect – way of life. All these elements directly affect human health, both physically and mentally as they are basic components of life itself. The scale of living generally means material welfare of a human, i.e. the level of his needs, both spiritual and material. The way of life is simply the order of the social and everyday life that governs various life activities of a human. Style of life generally concerns individual peculiarities of a human as a way of manifestation of his or her personal preferences and tastes. Quality of life as you may guess is basically an assessment of quality of living conditions. Doctors say that it is largely the life-style and the way of life that the human health largely depends on.
