Stresses

One of the most widespread causes of health problems in the modern world are stresses. Stresses can be defined as the condition of an extensive and prolonged state of psychological strain of the human organism arising as a result of emotional overload. The stressed condition can be both physical and mental. Stresses can happen in all spheres of human activity due to the presence of various stress impulses in them.
Any event, fact or message can cause a stress condition, i.e. become a stressor. Stressors can be various factors of all kinds: microbes, viruses, poisons, high or low temperatures, traumas etc. It also turns out that any factors influencing the emotional condition of a human can also be regarded as stressors. For example, it can be anything that makes us unhappy or sad like misfortune, rude treatment, undeserved offence, sudden obstacles to our plans and intentions.
An interesting fact: mental stresses can directly cause physical consequences in the form of ulcers, migraine, hypertension, low-back pains, arthritis, asthma and cardiodynia. Psychological indicators include irritability, lack of appetite, depression and low interest toward sexual relationships etc.
It's been proven scientifically that stresses can disorganize human activity, change his or her normal behaviour. Stresses, especially repeated and prolong ONES can negatively affect not only the mental state but also the physical health of a human. They are so called "risk factors" for cardiovascular and gastrointestinal diseases.
